Memorial Day Travel. Million flocking the airports in the road.

The Northeaster has not made it easy.

Ginger is standing by tracking the new threats, but first, let's go to Matt Rivers at LaGuardia Airport.

Good morning, Michael, and welcome to the tarmac here at LaGuardia Airport on one of the busiest travel days of the entire year.

This American jet here at Gate 24 Terminal B, that one's going to be flying to Chicago in just a few hours.

It's going to be full, just like the majority of the roughly 6,500 flights that America is going to be operating nationwide.

They're going to be transporting roughly three quarters of a million people.

And that's just American, not to mention all the other carriers.

So the advice, of course, on a day like today, get to the airport early.

This morning, that rare May nor Easter leading to messy travel for millions.

The storm delaying hundreds of flights from New York to Boston Thursday.

A little late in the season for a North Easter, isn't it?

As a record number of people hit the roads and skies for the holiday weekend,

passengers packing airports coast to coast.

Philly.

Obviously there's nothing that you can do about it, but these lines are ridiculous.
