A deadly morning for American troops in the Middle East after the crash of a military refueling

plane involved with a war in Iran.

Here's ABC Chief Foreign Correspondity in panel in Tel Aviv.

Sencom confirming four of six U.S. crew members were killed after their plane went down

in Western Iraq, US Central Command, saying a KC-135 refueling plane crashed during Operation

Epic Fury.

Unlike fighter jets, these planes aren't equipped with

parachutes or rejection seats. Sencom saying the incident is not due to hostile fire or friendly fire,

but the plane was involved in an incident with another aircraft which landed safely.

A large explosion rocked an area of Iran's capital today where thousands had been gathered for a state organized day in support of the Palestinians.

It came just after Israel says it warned people to leave the area.

Security on heightened alert in this country amid the ongoing war that's now two weeks old.
