Well, this has been a pretty incredible week already.

We've talked about the Supreme Court more than once.

We've talked about the Gallup poll more than once.

Most importantly on the issue of abortion.

But now we're turning to an even more important issue,

and this is beyond any kind of competence of the Supreme Court.

We're talking about a new Gallup poll on American belief in God.

The headline coming from Gallup this week is this,

Belief in God in the United States dips to 81 percent, the next three words,

a new low.

Now, we're concerned about this of course.

We're concerned about the number, but we're more concerned about the actual Americans.

This is, after all, a survey undertaken of those in the United States. Gallup has done this

study coming back as it is done year after year to tell us that the vast majority of

Americans believe in God, some kind of God, something or someone they call God,

but the number is actually decreasing.

Now we're concerned about this for numerous reasons.
