Hey, guys. Welcome to the podcast this morning. It is actually 10.30 at night for me, last night for you. I hope that makes sense. So it's Thursday night, 10.30, but I really kind of don't

know what time it is. I left Sydney, Australia, 28 hours ago, just landed here

in Richmond, Virginia. And so Wanda went down to baggage claim. And I told her, I'll meet you there

in 12 minutes because I need to talk to my friends on the podcast because I didn't have an episode

recorded for today.

So we're in Genesis, chapter 16. And I'm really excited, actually, to talk to you for a couple

minutes about this passage. We left us in the story with Hagar running. Remember, she ran from Sarai. She became pregnant by Abram.

Really bad choice. Bad choice by Sarai, bad choice by Abram. I guess you could even say

bad choice by Hagar. She didn't have much of a choice. But when Hagar realized that she was pregnant, she despised

Sarai. So all of this conflict because they're just trying to help God out. But here in Genesis 16,

I'm trying to find my place. I think we left in verse number six, where Abram and Sarai now are having this,

this, this, this issue because of the pregnancy of Hagar. Hagar is upset. She runs away. And it says

in verse seven that the angel of the Lord found her by a fountain of water.

I love that. The angel of the Lord found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness by the fountain in the way to sure.
