Welcome, friends, to episode two of our new series of episodes and

our podcast series on The Life of Abraham, promises made, promises kept, and I am really,

really looking forward to diving into this whole study. Yesterday, we talked about the beginning of the journey in Genesis

Chapter 11, and we just got into Chapter 12 just a bit. We're going to pick it up there. By the way,

I'm here in New Zealand today, so I'm even further south than Australia, although I am back east a little bit.

About a three-hour flight from Sydney to Christchurch, New Zealand,

and I'm a part of a really exciting church plant.

I've been preaching here for the last couple of years,

and just amazing to see what God's doing in a very spiritually dark place.

Of course, the scenery is unbelievable,

even coming in and seeing the mountains and the many of the spots

where the Lord of the Rings was filmed.

Just amazing scenery, but darkness spiritually.
