First we begin with the winter storm that is on the move,

bringing snow and ice alerts.

Ginger is here now with a track in the

timing. Good morning. Michael says begrudgingly because he does not want it but

no worries you're still looking like you get mostly rain here in New York City.

So let's talk about who doesn't have

mostly rain and that was part of the mountains of New Mexico ended up with up to

10 inches. The slide outs there in Santa Fe. Amarillo had enough one to

three-ish in the northern parts of the Texas panhandle it was

three to five this morning it's snowing in Wichita there is a tornado

warning that just spun up south of Houston and that's where we're gonna

track this thing eventually into Saturday and that's where we open up with the

winter weather advisories from Georgia to the Winter Storm Watch in Maine.

So it is a large area that's going to be impacted mostly on Saturday, Saturday night

and early Sunday, but let's talk about this afternoon

because it's the severe storms, the tornado threat.

And that all goes down along the Gulf Coast,

New Orleans this afternoon.

Then we've got to focus in on what happens for tomorrow.

So it starts to snow in a lot of places.

You may see some snow around New York City.
