Real quick look at all the headlines as you start today. I won't be here Monday. That's Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

And we always start with the top story.

All week, it's been the fires in Los Angeles yesterday.

It was a welcome break in those extreme winds as firefighters kept working to contain the

Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire.

The latest number I saw said that there are still around 40,000 acres

of ongoing wildfires. Containment is increasing, though, so that's great. As of now,

it's reported that 27 people have lost their lives and more than 12,300 structures have been

destroyed. I hate to say it, but those dangerous wins are forecast to come back next week.

It's prepared for the worst and hope for the best, I guess.

I just saw that Japan has sent $2 million for recovery efforts.

Taylor Swift posted about the organization she's given to.

I saw a video of Bruce Willis out shaking hands with first responders making a rare public appearance.

It is good to see people coming together on this community.

Oh, and the lineup for Fire Raid was finally revealed.
