A weirdos. As a child growing up in Olita, Kansas, I would anxiously await Friday nights

to sit in front of the television and watch scary movies presented by KCTV5 in Kansas City.

It was called Friday Fright Night and it still lingers in my brain with pleasant memories

of schlock and B movie scares. No horror host, just the big voice guy who did all the TV

station promos and announcements putting on a creepy face with an echo effect to take us in

and out of the commercial breaks. In fact, here's a short recording of what that guy sounded like.

Tonight another triple soldier in the realm of terror with an opener upper dealing with five

vacationing doctors who are stalked by a mysterious adversary in a remote forested area.

This woodsy trip turns into a grizzly tale as it progresses and it's grizzly even though there

are no bears involved.

We'll return seeking the mysterious presence who is using rituals to eliminate our doctor

friends. This presence though is not the kind we like to get at Christmas. We'll get back to rituals

after our customary pause and try to solve the identity of the mysterious visitor who in his murderous

scheme is using a baseball technique. The pick off play.
