coming to you a tad early so as not to be working my podcast team on Christmas day so I do hope that you enjoy

this slightly earlier Christmas cracker. So what has caught my eye this festive week? Well obviously the big news here in the UK has

been the new tier restrictions and the counselling of Christmas plans and my heart

does go out to all those who are now finding themselves with very

much changed plans or who are even now having to spend their plan festivities

alone or held virtually over Zoom or online. I feel very fortunate to have already

had all my children back home and who knows when will they be able to leave.

Well we are making most of it as those who saw my earlier

Instagram and Facebook lives would have seen

as I was joined by my two girls sharing Christmas tales and some last minute how-tos including

Christmas gift wrapping and paper rose-making out of the newspaper, a bit of

make-doing men going on and even some home hair dyeing escapades.

Yeah, well more of that in my Instagram stories if you would like to join in the

virtual fun. So today instead of focusing on the bad stuff in the news, the rising

number of COVID cases for example, and do bear in mind that these are cases that are

being reported, not numbers being hospitalized,
