Hello and a warm welcome to the Friday 5, my weekly round up from the world of wellness.

With some news and views from the world of wellbeing and this week we have quite an

eclectic mix in the run up to Christmas as we'll be taking a look at one of the most

serious and underrepresented areas of female health care in conversation with Jenny

Halpenprince, the oh so dynamic co-founder of the Lady Garden Foundation, talking all

about gynecological cancers, as well as chatting on a lighten out on sustainable gift giving

and the wondrous natural beauty of pearls amongst other things with the Mexican born artist

and pearl queen extraordinaire, Chrissy Coleman Douglas.

Well my first guest is a lady who has given so much in the service of others all while building

up a business empire alongside running a busy family.

I first met Jenny Halpenprince over 30 years ago when I was working as a junior editorial

assistant on a glossy woman's magazine running around, organising bits of copy and photo

shoots and the like.

And Jenny was, well still is, frankly, this incredibly glamorous, dynamic blonde powerhouse

running the press office then for an influential fashion brand quickly to go on to found her

own PR and media company stroke empire.

Well alongside being a marketing professional, Jenny is also a mother of three, a multi-charity

supporter and founder, the newest of which is the Lady Garden Foundation, which is the

gynecological cancer support charity and the one that we're going to be focusing on

talking about here today.

So Jenny is such a warm welcome to my podcast, you know it's been tricky to set this up
