A group of Oregon senators learn the true meaning of you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.

The Oregon Supreme Court said 10 Republican state senators are no longer allowed to run for re-election.

The group of senators staged a long walkout last year in their attempt to stall bills on abortion,

transgender health care, and gun rights.

This decision by the Oregon Supreme Court upholds the Secretary of State's decision to disqualify

the senators from the ballot. This is all because in 2022, Oregon voters passed a measure which

amended their state's constitution.

The amendment bars lawmakers from re-election if they have more than 10 unexcused absences.

And last year's boycott by the 10 state senators lasted six weeks, which was the longest in state history, installed hundreds of bills.
