And a tragic mission in Yemen reminds us that a new administration doesn't always mean a new start.

It's Friday, February 3rd.

When the Patriots star quarterback can't make it through a pre-game news conference, without

talking about our president, it's official. Donald Trump overshadows everything, even

the Super Bowl. The New England Patriots play the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Players

and coaches would like to be focused on the game, not Trump. But this year, some of them

don't really have much of a choice.

I mean, I've been to six Super Bowls now, and this one clearly has the highest level of

political engagement.

Ken Balson covers the NFL for the times. He's been keeping track of all the ways that

this has become Trump's Super Bowl.

The day after I got here, there was a big political rally right outside the convention center.

The next day was media night.

The Super Bowl is the first major event to take place since the travel ban went into

effect.

Pretty much every player were asked for their views on the president. Lady Gaga will be

the halftime act, and she's a very prominent opponent of the president. And a couple hours

before Tik off, Fox, which is broadcasting it, we'll show an interview between Bill O'Reilly

and Donald Trump.
