update about Juniper Blessing. Her family's speaking out after she was killed violently in an

off-campus UDub apartment complex. Relatives of Blessing who live in in New Mexico, released a statement yesterday, saying,

quote, Juniper was simply the most amazing human being we have ever known, highly intelligent,

extremely talented, and deeply sensitive to the needs of others. Blessing was a 19-year-old

trans woman living with roommates and part of the UW choir.

The trans collective at UW and the Gender Justice League are going to hold a healing event tomorrow at 4 on campus to grieve.

The 31-year-old man suspected in her killing is being held on a $10 million bond.

Undocumented youth in Washington's foster care system have the chance
