And we always start with the top story yesterday.

It was announced that President Biden is commuting the sentences of around 1,500 people

and is pardoning 39 Americans convicted of nonviolent crimes.

It's the largest single-day act of clemency in modern history, by a lot, honestly.

According to White House lawyers, those that were pardoned had been convicted of things like drug offenses and have turned their lives around.

And with this, the president promised more steps in the weeks ahead.

His final day in office is January 20th.
