We'll get into that later, but we're looking forward to good Charlotte for sure. And Rebecca, you have two big tech headlines your fall on. Yeah, some really big stories for everyone out there. in the West. As more than 50 million Americans on alert for dangerous heat, gender is tracking that heat force. But first, Trevor all starts us off on the scene in the fire zone. Good morning, Trevor. Good morning, Michael, and we've been watching as officials have been hurrying to close a lot of these roads as more than 10,000 people now are under evacuation

orders because of the canyon fire. It's charged thousands of acres overnight, and we've been watching

fire crews race all over the canyon trying to contain these flames as they pop up. It is very

steep and difficult to rain. And of course, the weather is doing these crews no favors.

This morning, a frightening scene as wildfires rage in California.

There's the sun completely bottled out.

L.A. County declaring a local emergency.

The canyon fire exploding in size, reaching nearly 5,000 acres in less than 24 hours.

Flames bearing down on hundreds of homes and power lines, forcing evacuations and damaging several structures.

Crews clearing away vegetation using shovels and chainsaws.

And in Colorado, smoke blotting out the sky as the Lee and Elk fires continue to blaze,
