Friday, August 1st, 2025. The Core 4. The four headlines you need to know. The United States has 14 million children facing food insecurity. That means those kids won't know where their next meal comes from. The United States also has a president who is about to spend $200 million on a 90,000 square foot ballroom. Yeah, this is real, and it's

coming to our White House. Make it make sense. The press secretary confirmed the plans to build

the space yesterday. Renderings show gold and crystal chandeliers, giant columns, gold floor

lamps, a checkered marble floor, and just so much unnecessary gaudiness.

The ballroom is allegedly being funded by Trump and other donors and will begin construction

in September.

So there was this crazy stat that I saw recently where in most large cities, restaurants get

most of their business now from takeout orders or delivery.

Like people are not sitting in restaurants anymore.

And when it comes to getting your food delivered, the app that basically everybody uses

is Uber Eats.

But there's always been one big problem for me ordering food using Uber Eats. But there's always been one big problem for me ordering food using

Uber Eats. There's no way to communicate between the restaurant and the customer. Normally,

if you've got an issue while you're ordering on Uber Eats, you're talking to the tech company or

the driver. And on the restaurant side, there isn't an easy way for them to reach out to customers if they have questions, but it looks like a lot of that is changing.

Uber Eats announced a bunch of changes coming to the app, and I've got to say, I'm a pretty big fan of the main two.
