Hey, guys, welcome back to today's episode and so glad that you joined us again. Appreciate your faithfulness.

I know I've talked to several of you just in recent days about being a brand new listener to everyday truth.

And that means a lot to me. I hope it's rewarding for you just to be in the Bible every day.

Maybe make this a part of your commute to work or your get ready in the morning regimen or your walk or whatever. I think

it'll be beneficial. We're in Matthew 19 and we've been talking a bit about marriage and the importance of marriage and how God doesn't

call everyone to be married. I think the majority of people he does, but some people are supposed to

be single for a lifetime and dedicate themselves to the service of God. And we talked a bit about

that at the end of last episode.

Today, we're in Matthew 19 and verse 13, which is really interesting because just a few episodes

ago, we talked about Jesus and the way that he used children to illustrate humility and faith and dependence.

And watch what happens now in Matthew 19 and verse 14, where the Bible says,

then were there brought unto him little children?

So parents or relatives are bringing little children to Jesus. Why? Because they want

Jesus to bless them. They want Jesus to pray for them. That still happens today. Parents love for
