mistakenly killed 18 Allied troops.

How do we reconcile all this military action with America first?

We are so proud of our military and it was another successful event.

Everybody knows exactly what happened.

And what I do is I authorize my military.

We have the greatest military in the world and they've done a job as usual.

So we have given them total authorization and that's what they're doing.

And frankly, that's why they've been so successful lately.

Lately, the United States military has been unexpectedly active overseas.

I called up our Pentagon reporter, Helene Cooper.

Helene, I realize that I'm basically always calling you when you're in the middle of a breaking story.

So thank you for coming on.

For some reason, you don't seem interested in talking to me when I'm just sitting around doodling.
