A search is underway for the crew member of a U.S. fighter jet that was shot down in Iran today.

Another person aboard that plane has been found.

More from ABC's Brit Clinic in Jerusalem.

An American fighter jet two-seater F-15.

That appears to have been shot down by Iran.

That's according to our sources.

One crew member was rescued, but we do not know the status of the second crew member.

We know that the White House has been briefed, that President Trump has been

briefed about that fighter jet being down.

Two Black Hawk helicopters involved in the search and rescue mission were also struck

by incoming fire. Some of the crew aboard those helicopters were injured, but both aircraft
