California lost a half a million residents between April of 2020 and July of 2022,

since this data showed the state suffered a net loss of 700,000 people over that period.

States receiving large numbers of Californians include Utah, Nevada, and Texas.

The Biden administration announced a goal of adding 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations

across the country by the year 2030.

Several private companies have agreed to help achieve the goal, including Tesla,

which will make 7,500 of its existing public charging stations compatible with any EV by the end of 2024.

Two Tennessee National Guard members were killed in a training mission this week

when their Black Hawk helicopter crashed in Alabama.

No one on the ground was injured.

In London, the U.S. Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco advised all Americans to avoid using the social media app TikTok

due to concerns over Chinese communist surveillance.

The remark comes as numerous state governments have banned public employees from using the device on government devices.

A spate of new progressive legislation was passed this week in Spain.

Changes now give teens access to abortion and transgender treatment, and enshrines the right of citizens to obtain an abortion in a state hospital.

Doctors in state hospitals will retain the right to obtain a religious exemption from performing the procedure.

Spain has also become the first country in Europe to entitle workers to paid menstrual leave.

Tesla is recalling up to 360,000 self-driving cars over concerns the software is unsafe.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration releases a statement Thursday that, quote,

the FSD Beta System may allow the vehicle to act unsafe around intersections.
