where we're at now and they think well yeah but but that it must have been easier

for you you know because they see the happy the happiness that we have now but what you

don't realize and maybe forget sometimes is that we lived most of our marriage

14 plus years, very much, like hopeless, isolated. We would ignore the problem.

I was the girl who refused therapy. I didn't want to do it. I

didn't want people to know that I was in it and my gosh it was his problem so

he needed to fix it. and so here I am a huge advocate for getting

help and I'm a huge advocate for you know what even if you don't have a marriage

like mine you probably still have stuff, stuff that you could

likely work through a lot easier if you just reached out to a professional who does this for

a living and that's what our expert Brandon does for a living and I just I believe

that there's so much light in knowledge in the world at this time and you know we

suffered for 14 years of our marriage because we chose to, you know, we didn't seek out

help, we didn't really look into resources. But I do believe it was also a different time.
