I'm Will Selva, and these are good morning football headlines from NFL Network.

The first round of the 2021 NFL draft did not disappoint.

What an exciting first night of action.

We saw quarterbacks go one, two, and three for only the third time in the

common draft era. The Jaguar selecting Clemsons, Trevor Lawrence, first overall, followed by

the Jets picking BYU's Zach Wilson, and that's when the fun really got started as the

Niners surprised many fans by selecting Trey Lance from North Dakota State. San Francisco

head coach, Kyle Shanahan, was asked how does the pick affect the incumbent

quarterback Jimmy Garopp.

Jimmy's situation is, if he isn't here on Sunday, I would be disappointed.

Because Jimmy, Jimmy is a quarterback who's played one year and took us to a Super Bowl

and played at a very high level.

He's had some fortunate injuries, but I believe in Jimmy as a person, and he's shown what he can do on tape.

Now, we made this move, so it's obvious what I hope and what I believe in with this guy coming in.

But it would be a very tough situation if Jimmy's not on our team.

I think I want Jimmy to be here and I want

this kid to be brought along. I want to see how he does. And if it turns into a competition,

it turns into a competition. A record seven straight offensive players were taken before the

Panthers made South Carolina defensive back J.C. Horn, the first defender off the board. The Bears traded up to

select Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields at 11. So, Justin, what are you going to bring to the Chicago
