Former Rangers owner and chairman, Sir David Murray, breaks his 14 years

silence since selling the club. Celtic confirmed the signing of Swedish winger Benjamin

Nygren on a five-year contract and there is plenty of business happening elsewhere with

Dundee and Hibs amongst the clubs making its signings. What a day it's been and we've got a

blockbuster show in store for you.

Well, there's only one question I would ask of the Rangers fans this evening, Gabriel,

and that is what is Sir David Murray's place in Ibrook's history.

There were 36 trophies in his 23 years as owner of the club.

There was the milestone signing of Moe Johnston, which broke a club taboo.

But Rangers were also mired in a tax avoidance scandal.

And then, Murray was the man who sold the club into the hands of Craig White.

And we know what happened after that.

Administration, liquidation, relegation to the bottom tier of Scottish football.
