All right, starting today with a bit of a deep dive, let's talk about face masks.

If you're like most people, you probably have a few of them by this point.

I started with one my roommate sewed for me from an old shirt.

I managed to get a box of standard surgical masks at the startup, the pandemic.

I use those as backups,

and I bought a couple from a friend who has been cranking them out with astonishing speed.

In particular, she was offering some really cool Halloween-themed fabrics, so I've got a skeleton

mask just waiting for October 1st. I've also been considering picking up a pack of sturdy yet

affordable masks from Old Navy, and I
