internal communication and engineering systems, taking them fully offline as

it investigates a breach of its overall systems.

Uber's stock opened down more than 5% this morning on the news,

quoting the New York Times.

The breach appeared to have compromised many of Uber's internal systems and a person claiming responsibility for the hacks sent images of email, cloud storage, and code repositories to Cybersecurity Researchers and the New York Times.
