Now I'm not sure how far to get into the weeds here, but Stevenson leaving now is sort of surprising,

and at the same time it was widely expected he would leave soon and yet at the same time there had been activist investors who were pushing Stevenson to leave earlier and the whole stanky taking over thing is eyebrow raising because stanky is the dude that pushed AT&T to get into the content business which was always controversial.
