in today's episode. We are going to get your kitchen under control. I know a lot of our episodes are about the kitchen, but there's a reason for that. When your kitchen is clean, it kind of frees you up to clean the rest of your house. So it's such an important starting point for getting your house under

control. And we kind of all do the same things in our kitchens, whereas the rest of our house is

often unique to us. Okay. For example, some of you may be picking up kids' kids toys some of you may have a lot of pet related chores

others have hobbies um there's all different things going on in different rooms of your house

and we do talk about those but this is going to be one of our kitchen episodes. So let's get right into it.

It's time to gear up for your cleaning session. One thing that helps me get motivated to clean

is freshening up. I like to feel like I'm ready for somebody to appear at the door.

Now I realize nowadays people don't just show up on your doorstep very often.

They text you first, they call you first.

But it's still a good feeling to be ready for anything.

So maybe put on something comfortable yet presentable.

Run a brush through your hair.

Put it in a ponytail, clean your face with a

washcloth. I feel that I get my day started quicker if I wash my face with a washcloth. I tend to

like showering or bathing in the evening and then just washing my face with a washcloth in the morning.

And I always have a spray bottle, you know, for dealing with bedhead.

I like to use kind of a leave-in conditioner, but you could use a detangler or even plain water.

You know, I typically just need to kind of spray like this one area,

and then, you know, to dampen that and then run a brush.
