Let me as have the honor of introducing the stars of our show. Now, two of them you already know by now,

that would be the economist John Cochran and the geo-strategist slash historian-slash-optimist,

Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster. Ordinarily, Neil Ferguson rounds out our trio of Goodfellas, but Neil could not make the show this week. Instead, we are honored to be joined by Carolyn Huxby.

Carolyn Huxby is a Hoover Institution senior fellow and a member of Hoover's Correct Task Force on K-12 education. She's also the Scott and Donya Obama professor of economics here at Stanford University.

And as of next year, Carolyn Huxby will be vice president of the American Economic Association,

the nation's oldest and most prestigious professional organization in the field of economics.

Absolutely. And especially Carolyn, because when we get together privately, I'll say something

outrageous and Carolyn says, no, John, you're completely wrong,

and here's exactly why, which is the greatest pleasure I have in my life. And so when we had a

slot, I jumped to try to get Carolyn to join us. Outstanding. I look for an hour of those corrections.
