So, Matt, the big news in the media world, and it is big news, is that Comcast is giving up, has given up on its $45 billion proposed acquisition of Time Warner Cable.

The company had tried to make an argument that this would be good for the consumer.

A lot of consumer groups and a lot of cable companies, and a lot of people just did not buy it at all.

Thought it would give Comcast way too much power.

And it's striking to me that the federal government rebuffed this attempt, even though Comcast has really given a lot of money to Obama and spent a lot of money on lobbying.
