Hey, welcome to episode number 550 of the Potter's cast.

I'm excited to be able to spend time with you, but I'm not excited about my particular life right now.

Well, life's good, life's good.

But I've been working towards getting a specific thing accomplished, working towards a business venture for the last two and a half years.

It's been a long process, very long process. And I've had probably 15 meetings designed

separate meetings, each from about two hours long, all designed around getting a signature on a

contract. And I just got word today that they aren't going to use us.

And I was really, I'm just frustrated.

But what do you do with frustration when something that you've been working towards so hard

and then it just falls through.

What do you do with disappointment?

Here's what I'm going to do.

I'm going to give myself the rest of today to be bummed.

I feel like that's a legitimate response to disappointment.

So I'm going to give the rest of today to being bummed. I'm still going to do what I've got to do, putting out an episode, what? Doing the next thing. Yeah, so I'm going to do that. And that's all good. I've got other things. I'm going to hang out with my wife. You know, so that's another thing that's really good. Hang out with people you love and that love you back. So I've got that going for me. So I'm going to be bummed for the day.

I'm going to spend time on my, but I'm not going to mope in my bummness. I will live with the

disappointment, but I'm not going to mope about it because I can't change the facts. So the next thing I'm
