I am so glad you're with us, as always.

I want to take a minute before we get rolling to talk to you about a new prayer journal

we have out.

If you've already heard about an ordered one, that's awesome.

If you have not, let me tell you briefly what we have.

A couple of months ago, it's just on my heart that I need to be more diligent about

praying for

my kids. And I know that may seem kind of obvious that we need to pray for our kids, but if you're

like me, we do a million things every day as parents, and sometimes prayer can be on the back burner.

And so the heart behind this book was to set it up in a way that it would correspond with the

school year. And so each week, starting in

September of the school year, September to May, I've written it where there is a different topic

we'll pray over our kids. So the first week, we might pray that they're light in the darkness.

And the next week, it might be praying security or protection over them. The next week,

we would pray that God would have favor on them. Each week, it's a different

concept. And so there's a little commentary for me about what we're praying as well as

scripture to pray over them. There's also lines to journal. And I know you may be like,

I'm not a journaler. And I get it because I'm not either. But just jotting down the areas we're

praying for our kids, where we're seeing growth, where they need growth, just making notes. And the hope would be that at the end of the school year,

we'd be able to look back at some of our notes and see where God was so faithful in their lives
