A couple of years ago, she and her husband had the opportunity to buy a home on a small one-acre parcel of land. In January 2021, she started the Acre Homestead YouTube channel to document her second year of gardening. What started as a personal project grew into a full-time job within a matter of months! Today, she shares her passion for homegrown, homemade, and locally-sourced food. 0:08.0

end of the season.

0:48.2

eating.

0:49.2

1:09.6

from scratch?

1:10.6

No, but there's something kind of empowering to know that, oh, if I want to cook that

1:13.7

from scratch, I know how to do it.

1:16.0

And that just came from, honestly, when I was younger, and I was bored, I would pull

1:21.5

out some recipe books and start cooking, and then it just kind of spiraled into trying

1:26.0

to figure out, oh, what can I cook from scratch?
