Annie Laurie is not here today because we actually were traveling around the world.

We were in Peru earlier this month, and Annie Laurie slipped and she broke her foot.

We were climbing in the ruins of Saxiwaman, which is outside of Kusko in Peru.

And it was an unfortunate slip.

I'm calling it a sports injury because she was really having a good time.

And then it was quite a story.

Just this random father from France picked her up on his back and carried her halfway down the mountain.

And then the guide and I carried her part of the other way.

And it was really an interesting trip.

And she did not want to miss going to Machu Picchu a couple of days later.

So we got out of the hospital.

She bravely went up to the base of Machu Picchu with her crutches.
