I'm Adam Bolton and joining me this week are the Labour MP for Ronda, Chris Bryant,

Thanks very much indeed for being with us.

This week we're going to touch briefly on the government's confusion over whether we're all going on a summer holiday.

We'll also look at some of the internal rouse going on in Parliament over such matters as the Freedom of Information Act and the whole question of who in this country should define what genocide is and what action needs to be taken.

Let's start, though, with the somewhat conflicting messages about travel this summer coming out from ministers.

I am optimistic.

I understand the reasons for being optimistic,

but some things have got to go right for us,

and the vaccine program has got to continue to be successful.

We've got to make sure that we don't get thrown off course by new variants.

I don't want to kind of unnecessarily raise people's hopes.
