| 0:31.0 | dealt yesterday. I think that Africa is in a process of change, and that process is moving very fast. |

| 0:48.0 | but it is simply because they're trying to express themselves freely. |
| 0:51.0 | The main African governments have learned the danger of state-controlled economies. |
| 0:57.0 | So there is a lot of liberalization of the economy. |
| 1:00.0 | Telecommunication and banking are one of the sectors that have been liberalized. |
| 1:04.0 | The penetration of the mobile phone in Africa is unprecedented. |
| 1:08.0 | Africa right now is enjoying the fastest growth in ownership and use of mobile phones in the world. |
| 1:17.0 | For the last two years Africa's stock markets have been the most profitable of any stock market in the world. |
| 1:24.0 | So there is a lot of positive change that is taking place that is largely unrecognized. |
| 1:31.0 | Africa's economy is already now growing at an average of about 7%. |
| 1:35.7 | That is 2008. |
| 1:36.7 | 2007, sub-Saharan Africa grew by 6.5%. |
