God is determined to free us from legalism and to empower us to understand the fullness of freedom that belongs to us in Christ. The heart of God is to see us unbound, completely free able to explore Him and walk with Him without being subject to any rules and regulations created by man.
Key Scriptures:
+ Romans 13:8-10. Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law. For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the Law.
+ Hebrews 6:13. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and reliable and one which enters within the veil, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
+ 1 Peter 2:9. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light
