Welcome in, everyone, to this week's edition of The Deer Hunter Podcast Friday, January 31st.

You're in the studio.

It is the first episode of the year for season two of a D.HP. Mega series, The Deer Hunter Experience.

And when we get right into the show, we'll give a little overview of what you can expect

from the Deer Hunter experience. This year, this week, Byron and I are both kind of summarizing

how our deer seasons went, in our own opinion, what we

liked about them, what we didn't like about them across the board, right? From approach to gear,

to how we spent our time, what we liked about the season and what we didn't. I think I gave mine

a seven out of ten, and I honestly can't remember

what Byron gave his. So we're doing an overview of our previous deer season and then we are

talking about the upcoming year. What are we anticipating? What are we looking forward to?

What are we doing right now to invest our time and kind of set

ourselves up so that we're on the ground running as soon as the snow gets out of here?

I got to tell you, I got to mention this right now. It's like 50 degrees in sunny out here in

Northern Michigan. We've had like cold, snowy, sub-zero, just nasty winter weather for the last couple weeks. And the sun's out

today. It's actually 48 degrees, just so I'm not embellishing. But I've got the doors open, fully open

everything on the studio. I come in the studio was 38 degrees outside 48. So I open the doors and

let some heat in here. So a little bit different weather
