Before I get to my conversation with my friend Rick, I want to give a couple of shout outs

to you off the benches. Robin from Wisconsin who wrote in to say hi Heidi, I loved your

comment the other day when you said I'm so off the bench, I can barely see it anymore.

I feel like I can relate. I'm in my second year homeschooling my daughters who are high school

and middle school ages. We moved two years ago unexpectedly from the home we've always

known and so this has been a huge adjustment for our family. We are also in the process

of adopting a child and dealing with the challenges that come along with this journey.
