The Great Day has arrived.

47 years after joining the European Union, today is the day that we leave it all behind.

No more billions for roads in Spain and Ireland.

No more billions to save the euro.

No more falling in line with ideas we didn't ever want to. And no more being dictated to by the likes of Michelle

Barnier, Giva Hofstadt, or Donald Tusk. We came, we saw and we decided we didn't fancy

hanging about. For Nigel Farage, this can rightly be considered a day of personal triumph,

a day that has come to fruition after decades of opposition to the European construct,

something that began in the 1970s as a means of rescuing some countries from dictatorship

and forming a loose trading bloc had become a bit of a monster.

An organisation run like a protection racket by unelected civil servants.

Make no mistake, today is a massive day for Britain.

And it is caused for great celebration.

Don't listen to those Remainers who complain that they don't want anyone to gloat.

These are the same people who tried to get the elected Prime Minister arrested.

The same people who joked about locking up Boris Johnson,

about dragging him out of Downing Street by force, in handcuffs if necessary.

The same people who told Brexit voters that they were thick, racist,

xenophobic and uneducated. The same people who taunted everyone that they would block

Brexit at every turn. The same people who went to Brussels to undermine the British people. I'll be
