So welcome to our daily rosary meditation.

I am blessed this evening to be with a great group of medical students,

pharmacy students here at University of Missouri and

Kansas City, U.M. K.C. It's wonderful to be with them. So let's begin in the

name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Now as we've been meditating on the powers of the soul and the great gift of a free will,

we realize more and more that our God given free will the freedom to choose is a very precious gift

It's what makes us free to shape our own character to choose our own destiny to determine the kinds of persons will become.

And yet, as St Thomas Aquinas says,

Our freedom to choose only pertains to a choice of means,

not to a choice of means, not to a choice of the ends.

What does he mean by that?

He means that we're free to choose
