UFC 325 is in the books, a night of just over a dozen fights from the kudos bank arena and Sydney, Australia wrapped up last night.

And we have a lot to discuss.

For post-wrestling, I'm Jack Wanen, joined today by Eric Marcotte.

And if memory serves me correct, Eric, you were very excited for this show.

Yeah, you know, excited for the show.

Yeah, you know, it's, it's been a long time since we've last talked an entire week,

and I've had quite a few days now to think about everything I said about this card.

I was able to really meditate on my thoughts and the opinions I voiced about the quality of this card and really think about whether I was being fair or not and I was being pretty fair, I think,

kind even.

Yeah.

And, you know, I was on the more charitable side when we were previewing this card.

And I kind of, coming out of that conversation, thought, I was on the more charitable side when we were previewing this card. And I kind of coming out of that conversation thought, it was either you coming back here and issuing an apology this week or was going to be me.

And, you know, I'm willing to eat crow here and say that I was the one who was a little too optimistic for what this lineup was.

Listen, you know, I think that as much as there were low points to this show and, you know, we'll get

into all that, there were also some enjoyable parts of it.

And I did enjoy a lot of the prospects emerged on these prelims, which we're going to get

into later.

Sort of the underrated part of these lower quality cards is that you do get to

prospect watch to an extent. And if you are a prospect watcher, like I consider myself,

there is some value to that, but just talking purely on, you know, prize fights, the top level

of MMA, you didn't get a ton of that here. And, you know, it is, it is a bit of a letdown that that's, that's kind of what a numbered card is considered these days, albeit, you know, not the pay-per-view price anymore, but still, this being the highest tier of what UFC has. Yeah, this certainly isn't what in the past, I guess, we would call a pay-per-view quality card.
