It seems, now this is sort of news to me, but it seems

that Christopher Columbus might be considered a divisive figure in the United States.

That seems like it's true. I mean, I don't even know it's divisive. I don't think people really,

I think really people come down on one side,

Christopher Columbus, bad, because a lot of bad things happened. And the other side is,

why do you care so much? Like, those seem like the sides. I don't think it's fair to blame Christopher Columbus for the bad things that happen afterward.

See, I think that with a lot of the people who would be on Christopher Columbus's side, they're divided themselves by the people who are like, oh, no, the Norse people discovered the United States or North America first. So Christopher

Columbus is just overblown and that's the issue with him. I would say that part is I'm

down with that. That certainly the Norse are clearly established a, you know, a place,

Vinland, I believe is what it's called.

And, yeah, that's...

So Columbus rediscovered.

I mean, plus there were people here already.

What kind of arrogance is it to say, oh, we discovered America, this place where there are

already people.
