I live in Minnesota, so this one's a little closer to home for me, Hamlin University.

If you haven't, listen up, because you may not believe this. There was an art history course being taught by an adjunct

professor. One of the pieces of art she was going to show in her art history class was something

out of the 14th century, a medieval portrait of the prophet Muhammad. Well, you may or may not know

that in Islam, some people, not all, some people, not all Muslims, feel that Mohammed should not be depicted in any way, shape, or form.

She was aware of this, the professor, and she told her students in the class, if you are going to be offended by this when I show it.

It's an important piece of art. It's historic. You may leave the classroom while I show it.

Guess what? She was let go because a student of Muslim persuasion complained.

Even given the right to walk out of the classroom and skip this part of the presentation,

There's been a lot of uproar about this, but Hamlin,

the university is not backing down. Well, there's an organization called Fire, and you can find

them at thefire.org. They fight for free expression, free speech on campuses and other places.

It used to just be in campuses, but now they're all over the place, and we are big supporters.
