Now, I think it's a great show to be honest with you gentlemen and it frames the football conversation brilliantly

but they have changed the minds Gareth

it's a bit of a bolt from the blue that they've changed the minds as quickly as they have echoes previous

U-turns you've seen from the club when there's been reaction an open letter

casts our minds back to open letters after the failed pursuit of Clint Dempsey.

It's just an interesting pattern of behavior before you go any further.

What's your initial instinct?

It isn't it, I thought that as well and that, you know, I was thinking, like I'm glad, I'm glad they've done what they've done for one

but also as well I think it's it's quite refreshing in a way that they don't just

dig the heels in and say no this is the stance and we are the bosses and this is what we're saying.

I mean what I would have like done obviously and it is them to take the temperature in the first place

before they did what they did but we can't reverse that now but they haven't reversed this and there is something I think they saw the you know the weight of opinion and also the PR aspect the reputation aspect that we thought about this morning.

And I'm lucky may well still have to go down this.

Truth I've just been doing something with Five Live and you know Tony Livesi, who I'm not

sure ever he remembers that he worked with me or not but he definitely did.
