When we moved in last week, we started this series called Open Heart, the idea just kind

of taking the picture of what happened in the building and applying that to our lives.

And that was really a powerful for me last week just to think about how God works.

And to think about each one of us, you know, there's so many individual stories in the

room tonight, but the one thing that's true about all of us tonight is that God wants

to do some amazing renovation in you and in me.

It isn't finished with any of us.

He's not happy about, you know, where we are necessarily in the fact that, oh, this is

the finished product.

Jesus said that he had promised to us that this work that he started in us, that he

would complete the work that he had begun in us.

So there's not any place in life on this earth that you get to where you go, okay, I'm

done, you know, I met Christ, I believed in Christ and I've understood some things about

Christ.

And now I'm done.

That point never comes for any of us until we actually see him face to face.

And in a twinkle of an eye, the scripture says, we're changed into his very likeness,

but all along the way is a process, right?

And so none of us are all the way there yet.

Can we just say that together?

Can you look at your neighbor, your wife, your husband, your boyfriend, your kid, your

parents, and say, hey, I've been telling you, I'm not all the way there yet.
