Freedom Christ has set us free and what he's doing is driving home the beauty of the Gospel that when Jesus died on the cross for you and me rose from the dead when we put our trust in him.

He forgives us of our sin and he frees us from the power of sin.

He forgives us for turning to ourselves in all the ways that looks in our lives and he frees us to live in the power of his spirit, not in ourselves anymore.

Which means we're not slaves to sin anymore and we're not slaves to the law in our own attempts in our own flesh to obey the law.

We are free. We're free from sin and we're free by the power of the spirit to live in righteousness and holiness not by our own strength but by the power of the spirit in us which is why when you get down in Galatians 5 to the end of this chapter you see the fruit of the spirit.

We pray that you help us to live today to introduce others to this freedom around us, those who are slaves to sin and death to the penalty and power of sin in their lives help us to share this good news, that they might be set free.

God, we pray for golf-spoken Arabs specifically, seven million of them, many in the Gulf region, but also many who have spread out, including in places like where I live in the United States, so many thousands of golf-spoken Arabs, God, we pray for the spread of the gospel of freedom to golf-spoken Arabs.

God help us to be sensitive to opportunities we have, right around us and God use our resources to get the gospel to them. God use our lives, our families, our churches, our prayers right now, our going, however you might lead us, raise up labors who will go to the Gulf region to spread the gospel of freedom to golf-spoken Arabs, seven million of them who need a freedom that's found only in Jesus.

We pray all this according to your word in Galatians 5-1 in Jesus' name and the name of the one who sets us free and who sets the nations free. Amen.
