The Miami Heat stay alive in one of my favorite circumstances as we talked about a team down

3-2 with home court advantage going on the road as the Boston Celtics did around a go to pull out

an absolute nail-biter just as 10 years ago another heat team led by another small forward did

the same in Boston Garden. I would say this heat team was much more of an underdog than that heat

team was even without Chris Bosch going up against this unbelievable Celtics defense and Jimmy

Butler had a game that I think was every bit the equal of LeBron James game 10 years ago just

an incredibly memorable forance by him. The Miami Heat needed so much from Jimmy Butler because

Tyler Herald was not he did not play due to this growing issue and we'll see if he is available

for game 7 in just two days time. That meant that the playmaking responsibilities gave Vincent

only played 17 minutes were primarily on Butler and Kyle Lowry who did two his credit play 37

minutes we'll talk about that and that wasn't just creating for others which Jimmy Butler did

to the two Nevada assists but for himself and part of what makes this game so memorable for Butler

is that the three ball was an important part of it and Jimmy Butler has been a reluctant three point

shooter overall it hasn't it hasn't been the best part of his game in the last couple years

and he was huge on that in the early going in the game he made two three pointers in the first quarter

and then added another one in the second on his way to four of eight from long distance and but it

was the energy that he brought on offense coupled with being an absolute disruptor harcaning

back to earlier in the series defensively with four steals. Yeah and Butler had a sore knee. He

said he talked to Dwayne Wade his old buddy from the three alpha days but also of course a Miami

Heat legend as well and Wade said hey you know what no one cares about your hurt knee and Butler

I don't know what he did to get that right but he clearly had more burst he had lift on the jumper

he was able to blow by guys like a great spin move on Grant Williams he's able to rise up over
