We do have some breaking local news and, you know, we don't do sports a lot on this show that's why our sister station

this team captivated the city the pacer's apparently have made a decision on miles turner and they have allowed him to walk.

ESPN's reporting he's going to go to the Bucks, a four-year $107 million deal.

So that'll kind of tell you a lot about how the Pacers view this upcoming season, I think,

as Miles Turner headed to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Yep, he's going to end his tenure, 10-year, tenure with the Pacers, huh?

You know, it's interesting because, and people, there was no easy answer on this.

This was an easy answer a week ago.

Well, this was an easy answer a week and three days ago.

When the Pacers, hey, win or lose, we're the upcoming team in the NBA, and we got

all these great young guys, and we're going to resign Turner, even though it probably

means we're going to go to the luxury tax for the first time.

And then when Halliburton got hurt, clearly, you go from a 50-55 win team to probably,

realistically, a 35 to 40 win team.

And if you're the Simon family, who has always been relatively stingy by NBA terms with their money, which they're a small market team.

They don't bring in the revenue some of the other teams do.

They've just been unwilling to go into that, that luxury tax.

And I don't think long term they felt the team did.
