This is the place to be to wrap up every single thing that happens in free agency.

But right now, we've got to get to the rumor mill.

Seems like there are even more of these than in past years.

Maybe it's this interminable delay between this very early draft on June 20th and the start of free agency.

Teams and agency to be getting a lot of work done.

But perhaps that's more public than in past years because reporters need to fill the news vacuum.

So a lot of news that has come down the pike.

I think the place I want to start though is with these Jimmy Butler possible sign-in trade rumors to Houston.

And the idea being that the rockets want to acquire the 29-year-old Butler

with a $440 million contract, the most that they could give him.

Remember, in a sign-in trade, starting with the 2011 CBA, you no longer can get the same contract

that you would have gotten with your incumbent team and just get traded.

You now just get the same contract as if you signed with the other team outright.

However, the reason this is being talked about with sign-in trade is because the rockets

under no circumstances other than moving Chris Paul could have the space to bring Butler in.
