I need you to tell me how you knew that Loyola Chicago and oral Roberts were going to make the final four. What is your bracket process?

It's simple. Starting in February, I start grinding film, college basketball film, and what I saw in the film was that those are two underrated teams. I'm kidding, of course. I've never even heard of these teams before this weekend, but turns out Pat, I did pick oral Roberts in the first round. I don't know why, but I did. And then, no, I didn't pick the other. What's the other team?

Loyola Chicago, who's the actually good team? Yeah, I didn't do that. No. So yeah, you broken brain process probably leads to your Roberts pig.

Exactly. Was that you see any okay, what's the word religious school, I guess, basically automatically advance them. If it's a matchup between two secular schools, you just leave it blank as a protest.

Yes, exactly. And I thought that that would maybe be your problem. Do you do know anything about your bracket? Do you know if you picked the University of Missouri where I attended school?

Oh, let me I'm checking out. I do. I do know that I had liberty in the sweet 16. Of course, this was picked purely for political purposes, and it didn't work out. No, I don't have.

I had Oklahoma winning.

You had Oklahoma, and that was smart. I was going to say, because Mizzou, we are the ultimate. I don't free. I don't know if most people are frequent listeners to pod readers, as I probably know, I'm a university of Missouri alum.

And Mizzou will only ever leave you dead inside. And if you had consulted me on your bracket, I would have told you not to did you did you pick Mizzou?

Because you know, as a man of science, as a man of, you know, I'm just a man of reason and science. So naturally, I'm also very superstitious.

And I believe that if I pick against Mizzou, that it's bad luck. So even though I know that they're going to lose, I still always pick them to at least win the first game.

The key the key pad is not to be superstitious, but just a little stitious. I think that that's my my process for this tournament, this bracket.

Are you superstitious? I have to admit, I am sadly superstitious. For a road or older, Evan Silva, by the way, something people know, he is very superstitious fellow, maybe even more superstitious than me, but I am not too proud to admit as a 34 year old man that I'm still superstitious and prone to things like wearing the same shirt.

The car cells are in the playoffs. Yeah, it's pretty bad just to be honest. How's that working for you?

It never works. And every time I pick Mizzou, I'm getting into maybe reverse jinx territory with Mizzou, because I pick Mizzou every time and then they lose every time.

I have not won an NCAA tournament game since 2010. So I think I need to like hyper drive, distitious, basically.

Exactly. You have to be like JJ Zacharyson, who will always always pick against the Steelers and bemoan them and say, no, they can't win, they can't possibly do this, they can't come back this and it were, you know, and then if they do when they do, it works out.

You know, he is the master of the reverse jinx. I think you need to talk to him about about putting that reverse jinx on your failed Missouri teams.

Yeah, JJ is the man. He spent, he dedicates his entire life to reverse jinxing the Pittsburgh Steelers and he said pretty good results of that. But yeah, he might need to, after you're losing to a playoff game to Cleveland Browns, that's where you, that's where you change the process.

You know, there was always bad. And yeah, he needs to, whatever level of reverse jinxing he is doing is no longer working.
